According to ICTNews, the journal of Ministry of Information as well as Communication (MIC) in Viet Nam, Joomla has been famous not long ago as an open source product which has tall priority in purchasing as well as regulating in all goverment agencies.
Beside Joomla, there have been alternative 7 open source products combined to the endorsed list this time:
MIC voiced the list of endorsed open source product in 2007 which already has OpenOffice, Thunderbird, Firefox as well as Unikey( Vietnamese typing program).Liferay (version >= 4.0)

Alfresco (version >= 3.0)

SendMail (version >= 8.13)
